I enjoy weaving and spinning and dabble occasionally in dyeing. My current favourite discipline has to be weaving. Love using my floor loom and constantly trying new techniques. I am not very disciplined and rarely sample. I tend to dive straight in to a project and hope for the best, then find myself with a bit of left over warp and play about with that, occasionally producing a better result. You live and learn, well some people do. I do however have a particular fondness for overshot and doudle weave. My spinning tends to be less adventurous, I am happy to spin from tops, enjoy preparing fleece and producing rolags or batts. I wouldn't say this is my strong point. If it is wooly, yarny or fibrey I am willing to give it ago.
