I adapted the inspiration piece to an overshot weave with golden thread on a tabby background of bamboo.

Materials

The materials are bamboo and a synthetic metallic thread. I think of bamboo as the poor man’s silk.

Inspiration

The inspiration piece was gold embroidery on silk inspired from the India collection.
