Inspiration

The fabric from The Indian Collection reminded me of old cobbled streets, prescribed, dark and hard bringing thoughts of the mundane lifetime trudge of mill workers and those on the edges of society.

The wintery early morning light catches the half melted snow and illuminates the cloudy sky with golden hues. The river is dark and mysterious.  It calls to some, especially those who feel it’s cold and icy offering is a welcome home. Life is seen as peaks and troughs but sometimes down is the only way visible.
