Adaptation of a design of the Adobe Peublo Water Bird from The designs by the First Nations of the Greater Southwest of America. Years ago I played about with an Adobe bird design. When I saw the weaving design by H.S.Platts, It immediately made me think of the Adobe design. The small piece of tapestry is the result. The working sheet has been taken from some of the notes I already had.

Materials

Wool and cotton. All the yarns are naturally dyed and mainly hand spun.
