Inspiration

My Mum made me this dress from recycled fabric 35 years ago. Over the years my waist has grown and after visiting the collection of wonderful fabrics in the archives thought of how my Mum would have loved them and that I would make yet another belt. The buckle I chose from my Mum’s collection sadly broke, but the buckle used is right for the 40s style dress, but not blue! My Mum would have said “Doesn’t matter. Who is going to notice anyway?”
